Adimahotsav-2024 is being organized by Indian Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation (TRIFED), an organization working under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, on 20-30 December 2024 at Bhopal Haat, Bhopal. The festival was inaugurated by the Honorable Union Minister of State, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Durgadas Uike at 7.00 pm.
This festival will continue till 30th December. This festival will showcase tribal handicrafts and handicraft trade. Here mainly various types of tribal handicrafts, bell metal, paintings, textiles, woolen items, jewelery and various types of handloom products will be displayed and sold. In this festival, 200 tribal artists from almost all the states of India will display their products in 90 shops. In this way, original crafts and handloom products from all over India will be available for sale. Bagh print, Maheshwari and Chanderi sarees of Madhya Pradesh will be displayed mainly. Tribes India’s own stall is also offering discounts of up to 40 percent on selected products.
Stalls of tribal dishes are also being set up in this festival. This will give the local people a chance to taste the tribal cuisine. To promote cashless business of national importance, payment through HDFC debit/credit cards will be accepted in this fair. Everyone is cordially invited to this fair to experience the tribal art and culture. Please come and encourage these artists by purchasing the items of your choice.
