Naxalites have issued a new press note regarding Maad encounter. Anita Mandavi, Secretary of Maad Division Committee of Naxalites has issued the said press note. In the press note, the female Naxalite leader questioned IG Bastar that why is it taking so much time to eliminate such a weak PLGA? What is the need for lakhs of forces like DRG, STF, Bastar Fighter, Cobra Commando, NSG, Commando, SOG and Greyhounds, thousands of police camps, war tanks, MPVs, rocket launchers, and state-of-the-art drones? The Naxalite leader said, ‘By saying this we do not at all mean that we are in a strong position. What is our strength, we know that our strength is not based on the power of gun or the number of casualties, hence we can say with strength that it is not possible to eliminate Maoism on the power of gun. At the same time, the Naxalite leader has also refuted the police claims that children were injured by Naxalite bullets during the encounter.
