Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla, while inspecting the centralized kitchen of Akshaya Patra Foundation in Bhopal, praised the work of the organization. He said that this effort of the Foundation to provide clean and nutritious food to the students is not only exemplary, but is also an important step towards nation building.
Appreciating the automated and planned working system of the Foundation, the Deputy Chief Minister said that this initiative is promoting the physical and mental development of children. Appreciating the dedication of the employees working in the organization, Shri Shukla said, “This work of Akshay Patra Foundation is going to shape the future of children and inspire the society.”
Mid-day meal is being served to 35,000 children of 645 schools of Madhya Pradesh from the kitchen located in Bhopal. The foundation is providing nutritious meals to 22 lakh 50 thousand children in more than 23,000 schools across India.
The Deputy Chief Minister praised the automated process, cleanliness, time management and nutritional quality of the foundation and described it as a source of inspiration for other states. On this occasion, President of Bhopal Cluster of the Foundation, Acharya Ratna Dasa was also present.
