China tripled its nuclear stockpile compared to 2020

That means its nuclear power has increased significantly in the last 4 years. In this report released on December 18, it has been said that in 2024, the number of China’s nuclear bombs will exceed 600.

China has also responded to this report. China has said that it adopts nuclear strategy for self-defense. China has always adhered to a policy of no-first strike and has maintained its nuclear capabilities at the minimum level necessary for national security. Chinese Embassy spokesman Liu Pengyu said on Wednesday that such Pentagon reports are full of Cold War mentality, which China firmly opposes.
