Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the Indian Judiciary has created a unique identity in the world with its decisions. He said that the beauty of the world’s largest democracy lies in the courts. Describing the decision of Allahabad High Court as a milestone, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that only the Indian judiciary has the courage to take a decision against the serving Prime Minister. He talked about keeping morality in mind along with merit while administering justice. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said this in the felicitation ceremony organized by the Advocate General in Jabalpur. Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court, Justice Suresh Kumar Kait said that he has received more respect in Jabalpur in a short period of just three months than he received during his entire service life. In the advocate felicitation ceremony, senior advocates were also felicitated along with Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and Chief Justice Justice Kait. Various judges and senior advocates including Chief Secretary Anurag Jain were present in the program.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the judiciary is the sentinel of Indian democracy. The justice system of the country gives India a distinct identity in the world and also increases its pride. The judiciary has taken many such historic decisions which retain their relevance even today. This is the beauty of our democracy. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that legislature, executive and judiciary are important parts of democracy. While the work of making law is done by the executive, the work of interpreting it is done by the judiciary.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that many changes come with time, maintaining our relevance in the changing era is the unique identity of our judiciary. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the justice system of the country has taken many such decisions in which along with merit, morality and life values have also been given priority. The difference between the Pandavas and the Kauravas during the Mahabharata period was that the Pandavas had incorporated life values and morality. In the same way, Karna’s ability was no less than anyone else, but instead of morality, he had a strong sense of revenge and lacked life values.
Chief Justice Justice Kait said that before joining Jabalpur, he had served in Delhi High Court, Telangana and other High Courts. As the Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court, he has received even more respect than he received during his entire service period. Here, suggestions have also been received from senior and retired judges to further improve the judicial system. We are fully hopeful that we will get full support from the state government for better justice system.
