Palestine’s health department has made a big claim regarding the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. Palestinian health officials said on Monday that more than 45,000 civilians have died so far in the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. Gaza’s Health Ministry has claimed that more than 50 dead were brought to hospitals in the bombed area in the last 24 hours.
The Health Ministry said 45,028 people have been killed and 106,962 others have been injured since the war began, AFP reported. Apart from this, it has been warned that the actual death toll could be even higher because thousands of bodies are buried under the debris where the team of doctors has not been able to reach.
America is continuously providing help to Israel during the war. The lawsuit, announced Tuesday, accuses the US of failing to enforce a federal law that bans funding foreign militaries involved in gross violations such as extrajudicial killings and torture.

The lawsuit reads, “The United States’ willful failure to enforce the Leahy Act is shocking given the intensification of Israel’s human rights violations since the Gaza conflict began on October 7, 2023.” The lawsuit says more than 45,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli bombings and ground operations in Gaza since the beginning of October 2023. The plaintiff teacher expressed her grief
The plaintiff in the case is a Gaza teacher known as Amal Gaza.
