State Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Pandwani folk singer Padmavibhushan Smt. Teejan Bai today reached her residence in village Ganiari (development block Patan, district Durg) to know about her condition. He met Padmavibhushan Mrs. Teejan Bai and her family members and inquired about their well-being and inquired about their health. Minister Shri Jaiswal, on behalf of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, presented a check of financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to Padmavibhushan Smt. Teejan Bai. Shri Jaiswal also assured to discuss with the Chief Minister regarding the demand of job in the family. He also talked about providing better medical facilities at the government level.
It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai has directed that there should be no shortage in the treatment of Padma Vibhushan Smt. Teejan Bai, the identity of Chhattisgarh. A team of doctors has also been deployed for the treatment of Teejan Bai, who also continuously issues her medical bulletin. Health Minister Shri Jaiswal, who arrived as the representative of the Chief Minister, honored Mrs. Teejan Bai by presenting her a shawl and quince. On this occasion, MLA Mr. Doman Lal Korsewada, Mr. Lalit Chandrakar and Mr. Gajendra Yadav, Director Health Services, Collector, CMHO and health workers were also present.
