Vehicle owners do not need to worry about getting high security number plates installed in their vehicles. There is no need for them to wander here and there. They can get the number plate installed sitting at home by calling the company employees.
This new facility has been started by the Transport Department, so that vehicle owners do not have to wander here and there. Transport Department officials said that now vehicle owners across the state can call the employees of two authorized vendors to their homes as per their convenience to get high security number plates installed in their vehicles.
This scheme has been implemented on vehicles registered before April 1, 2019. The department has appointed M/s Real Mezan India Limited and M/s Rasmerta Safety System Limited as authorized vendors for installing number plates. They will install number plates only at the rates fixed by the department.

Also, transport offices have been divided into different zones so that people can get number plates installed. Officials said that to get high security number plate installed, one will have to log in to the Transport Department’s website cgtransport.gov.in. For online booking, only digital mode can be used.
An additional fee of Rs 100 will have to be paid for each installation. There will also be additional charges for home delivery service. To get HSRP number plate installed, it has to be kept in mind that along with registration, the mobile number of the vehicle owner should be entered on the vehicle portal.
If the number is not registered then the number will have to be entered first. If the number is in the portal, the chassis number of the vehicle will also have to be entered along with the registration number. After this, verification will happen through mobile.
Number plates of old vehicles will change from 2019
It has been made mandatory to install high security registration plates on vehicles in the state. Additional Transport Commissioner D. Ravi Shankar has told vendors that now high security registration number plates will have to be installed on all vehicles.

Rs 656 for four wheeler
Rs 705 for heavy vehicles
Number plate features
It contains a unique code, which contains all the information related to that vehicle. It cannot be removed. It also has two number plates and a third number plate, which is fitted in the windscreen. The Generative AI facility is currently available as an experiment.
