A Council of Ministers committee has been constituted by the state government to determine the excise policy for the year 2025-26 and take decisions on related matters from time to time. Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Deora, Transport and School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh, Women and Child Development Minister Sunirmala Bhuria and Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Govind Singh Rajput have been nominated in the committee. The Principal Secretary will be the Secretary of the Commercial Tax Committee.
