A case of kidnapping of a 13 year old child has come to light in Bareilly of Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh. Here, a 13-year-old student who was returning home after tuition was kidnapped in Maruti Nagar of Satlapur police station area. After this the accused called and demanded a ransom of Rs 10 lakh from the family members. During this, the child’s father was told that if money was not arranged as soon as possible, his son’s body would be found by the morning. Police have arrested 4 accused in the case.

According to the information, 13-year-old class 7th student Navneet Dhakad was returning home after taking tuition in Maruti Nagar, Bareilly around 6:00 pm on Tuesday evening. During this time, the accused who came in the car called the student on the pretext of asking for directions, then forced him into the vehicle at gunpoint and fled away. After this, he called the student’s father and demanded Rs 10 lakh within an hour.

After receiving the call, the frightened father immediately informed the Satlapur police station. After which police station in-charge Vijay Tripathi arranged money as per planning and sent the family members of the children to the spot as per the address given by the accused. As soon as the accused came there, the police caught them. The main accused in the incident, Shivam Sahu and Shubham Sahu, along with two other accused, have been arrested by Bareilly Police. The child has also been recovered safely. At present the police has started investigating the matter.
