The fourth part of director Indra Kumar’s superhit film ‘Masti’, released in 2004, has been announced.

Vivek shared a funny video on Instagram on Sunday. In this video, filmmaker-writer Milap Zaveri is seen holding his co-star Riteish Deshmukh. In the clip, Javeri is seen trying to kiss Ritesh and hugging him.

Vivek Oberoi captioned it, “Masti 4 is now officially a love story…the ‘bromance’ begins! 20 years of madness after the first film! Sorry, I couldn’t come to the launch…see you soon at the shoot.”

Actor Aftab Shivdasani shared a picture of himself holding the clapboard from the film on his Instagram. He also shared a picture with Ritesh and Javeri. One picture also featured artist, director and veteran actor Jeetendra.

Aftab wrote, “Madness has begun. Funniest ever… Hash Tag Masti 4.”

The adult comedy film “Masti”, directed by Indra Kumar, was first released in 2004, starring Ajay Devgan, Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani, Lara Dutta, Amrita Rao, Tara Sharma and Genelia D’Souza. The film had two more sequels, “Grand Masti”, released in 2013, and “Great Grand Masti” in 2016.

“Grand Masti” was also directed by Indra Kumar. It had the same cast, yet the film doesn’t move forward and is a new installment. The film also stars Bruna Abdullah, Karishma Tanna, Sonali Kulkarni, Kaynat Arora, Maryam Zakaria and Manjari Phadnis.

Talking about “Great Grand Masti”, it was a horror comedy. Vivek, Ritesh and Aftab had played their roles from the first two installments. However, the third part featured Urvashi Rautela, Shraddha Das, Mishti Chakraborty, Pooja Bose and Sanjay Mishra.

Milap, who directed the film, has previously worked in ‘Shootout at Wadala’, ‘Satyamev Jayate’ and ‘Marjaavaan’.
