There was a sensation in the area after the dead body of a youth was found in a canal near Baragaon under Dimani police station area. Where after the police received the information, after identifying the deceased, the body was sent to the PM House.
According to the police, the deceased youth was studying PGDCA while living in Gwalior. He had left the house last 3 days ago saying he was from Morena, and did not return after that. The family members had lodged a report in the police station. In this case, there is suspicion of murder because the hands and legs of the deceased were tied.
According to the same information received, the deceased is 21 year old Abhishek, son of Padam Singh Lodhi, resident of Pardu Pura village located in Porsa police station area, who was studying PGDCA while living in Gwalior. Last 3 days ago i.e. on the morning of 11th December, he had left Gwalior for his home in Morena, but he did not return to his home or back to Gwalior. Just the second day after he left for home, messages demanding ransom from his family members started coming from his mobile phone. According to the family members, in the message, an unknown person threatened to kill their son and first demanded Rs 20 lakh, which gradually came down to Rs 1 lakh. He lodged his report at Gole Ka Mandir police station in Gwalior.
The police had registered a missing person and started searching for the young man, then yesterday morning the news was received that the dead body of a young man was found in a canal near Baragaon in Dimani police station area of Morena district. When the police called the family members to the police station and got them identified through photographs, they identified him as their son. After this the police took him to Morena. After coming here for identification, the body has been sent to the mortuary for PM. According to the police, the feet of the deceased youth were tied with a red cloth. There were injury marks at various places on his body. Prima facie it appears to be a case of murder. Who murdered the young man and why, the police is investigating from every angle.
