The contractual health workers of the National Health Mission (NHM) have been fighting for their pending demands for a long time, but till now they have not received any benefit, due to which there is huge anger among the employees. NHM employees, troubled by continuous false promises, have decided to hold a press conference through the press on December 19 in all the 33 district headquarters of the state to express their grievances.
State President Dr. Amit Miri told that in the Corona call, these employees were given the status of Corona warriors, which is known to the general public of the state even today. By risking their lives, these employees of the National Health Mission worked day and night to serve the common people of the state in the treatment and health care system with dedication.
In order to convey the pain and problems of the Corona warriors to the general public, all 33 districts will hold a press conference and again tell about their pain to the general public. In the entire state, the contractual employees of the National Health Mission have been serving the general public of the state for more than 20 years despite low salary and less facilities in Ayushman Arogya Mandir, Sub Health Center, Primary Community Health Center, District Hospital and medical colleges. Yes, due to the good work of NHM contract employees, the quality of health system of the entire state is continuously increasing. Due to their good work, these hospitals are also being honored with the National Quality Standards System Award.
Employees said that their salaries are so low that they are unable to even buy daily necessities to support their families. By risking their own lives, these employees have served the people of the state in the name of Corona, which is still present in the hearts of the common people.
A few days ago, State Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal had announced in front of the media a 27 percent increase in the salaries of these employees, but they have not received that either. The employees have been continuously reminding them of their promise by giving applications to all the ministers including the Chief Minister of the state, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, Vijay Sharma.
Let us tell you that during the 31-day agitation of the previous government, on the platform of these employees, BJP state officials Dr. Raman Singh, Arun Sao, Vijay Sharma, OP Choudhary, Kedar Kashyap and other prominent leaders had come to the protest site and demanded the formation of the BJP government. It was said that the matter would be resolved within 100 days. These employees have played a big role in forming the BJP government and their number in the entire state is more than 16 thousand.
