The highest maximum temperature of 28.5 degrees Celsius was recorded in Khandwa in the state. Cold wave is going on in many districts of Madhya Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has issued orange and yellow alerts of cold wave in various districts during the next 24 hours. A warning of frost has also been issued at some places.
The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert of intense cold wave at some places in Vidisha, Raisen, Sihore, Shajapur, Bhopal, Shahdol, Jabalpur districts of Madhya Pradesh during the next 24 hours. Fears of frost have also been expressed at some places.
Whereas in the districts of Narmadapuram, Barwani, Ratlam, Dewas, Mandsaur, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Singrauli, Rewa, Mauganj, Satna, Anuppur, Umaria, Katni, Seoni, Mandla, Panna, Damoh, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Maihar. A yellow alert has been issued for cold wave at some places during the next 24 hours.
Cool days can be seen at isolated places in Neemuch, Rajgarh, Betul, Dhar, Indore, Ujjain, Sidhi and Narsinghpur districts. Cold wave may also occur in some places. The Meteorological Department says that cold day conditions will be seen in some areas of Madhya Pradesh on December 15. Yellow alert has been issued regarding this.
Talking about the rest of the country, there is a possibility of cold wave conditions in some parts of Punjab on December 15. Jammu and Kashmir during 14-16 December, Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gangetic plains of West Bengal, Odisha on 15 December while western Rajasthan during 17 to 20 December, eastern Rajasthan during 15 to 20 December There is a possibility of cold wave conditions in some areas in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh on 16 December.
