Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, paying tribute to the martyrdom of the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives to protect the country, announced the naming of Government College, Bansagar Byohari, after Martyr Govind Prasad Mishra. He also announced to give a government job to his wife. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the function organized at Beohari in Shahdol district under Jan Kalyan Parv on Saturday. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated 22 development works costing Rs 31.68 crore and performed bhoomi pujan of 40 development works costing Rs 320.7 crore in the ceremony. Besides, benefits were also distributed in various beneficiary oriented schemes.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the flag of India is fluttering all over the world. The country is moving towards economic prosperity. India has emerged as an economic power, leaving England behind. The Chief Minister said that Swami Vivekananda had said that the 21st century will belong to India. Prime Minister Shri Modi has shown this in reality. The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh will be linked to the basic mantra of Prime Minister Shri Modi “Work for every hand, water for every field, water is life”. It is a matter of joy for us that the Prime Minister will dedicate the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal River Link Project on 17th December and the Ken-Betwa River Link Project in the Bundelkhand region on 25th December. Through these projects, water will reach every farm in Malwa and Bundelkhand.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that on completion of one year of the state government, “Chief Minister Public Welfare Campaign” is being run with the inspiration of Prime Minister Shri Modi. In this campaign, which will run for 40 days, by conducting door-to-door survey, eligible citizens who are deprived of government schemes will be identified and they will be benefited from the public welfare schemes of the government. He said that every day during the Jankalyan festival, the people of the state are getting gifts for development works. The quality of all these development works will be strictly monitored. He pledged to the public representatives present to participate in the effective implementation of the campaign, so that no eligible beneficiary is deprived of the benefits of the scheme.
Appreciating the characteristics of Sarsi Island, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Sarsi Island of Shahdol district is full of natural beauty, it is no less than Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Shahdol district is rich and full of water, forests, mineral resources and wildlife. Through this, tourism will expand in the area and the youth will get employment opportunities.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla were honored by presenting them shawls and quinces. Also a photo of Mata Shabari was presented. MLA Jaisinghnagar Mrs. Manisha Singh, MLA Jaitpur Mr. Jaisingh Maravi, District Panchayat President Mrs. Prabha Mishra, Member District Planning Committee Mr. Kamal Pratap Singh, public representatives, officers and a large number of citizens were present in the program.
