Arjuni police has arrested an accused who committed fraud of about Rs 72 lakh on the pretext of job. Two other accused are absconding in this case. On December 10, 2024, a report was lodged by Vivekanand Sahu, resident of Kanker, Narharpur district, at Arjuni police station that Bhavendra Kumar Aggarwal, resident of village Limtara, district Dhamtari, had asked for a job on Assistant Grade-3 in Raipur Ministry.

On which six lakh rupees were given by me on December 8, 2022, when the money was asked for back when I did not get the job, one and a half lakh rupees was given back by Bhavendra Aggarwal and the remaining amount has not been given yet. The victim had filed a case against the said person accusing him of fraud. At the same time, Arjuni police registered the case and started taking further action. During this time, the police took Bhavendra Aggarwal into custody and interrogated him strictly, on which the accused, along with two other associates, had defrauded about 14 people in the name of providing jobs worth Rs 72 lakh, on which Arjuni police, on Friday, December 13, The accused has been arrested and sent to jail on judicial remand. Along with this, search is on for the other two accused.
