South superstar Allu Arjun was released from Hyderabad Central Jail today (December 14) morning after getting bail from Telangana High Court. The actor’s father Allu Arvind and father-in-law Kancharla Chandrashekhar had come to receive him. Allu Arjun’s fans are very happy with his release. After being released from jail, Allu Arjun has reached his home with his family. On reaching home, he thanked all the fans for their love and support.
What did Allu Arjun say after coming out of jail?
After coming out of jail, Allu Arjun talked to the media. He said- There is nothing to worry about. I am alright. I believe in law. This case is going on in the court so I will not comment in between. I am a law abiding citizen. I will cooperate with the police.
Expressing grief towards the victim’s family, the actor said- My condolences to the family of the woman who lost her life. This was an unfortunate incident. I will be there to support the family in every possible way and provide them all possible support during this difficult time.
Talking about the incident, Allu Arjun said that it happened unintentionally. The actor said- When I had gone to watch a movie, suddenly that incident happened. This was not done intentionally. For the last 20 years I have been going to cinema halls to watch films. It has always been a pleasant experience, but this time things took a different turn.
Allu Arjun said for the fans – I am grateful to all those who stood with me during this time. Thank you very much for everyone’s love and support. I am here today because of your support. I want to thank my fans.
Telangana High Court has shown promptness in this matter and granted him interim bail. Due to the court order not arriving on time, Allu Arjun had to spend the night in jail. According to information received from sources, he was not given any VIP treatment in jail. He was treated like a common prisoner. He spent the night sleeping on the jail floor.
Sources further said that his prisoner number was 7697. He slept on the floor in the jail throughout the night. He didn’t even eat dinner. He was released from jail early in the morning. After reaching home after release, Allu Arjun said that he respects the law.

After coming out of jail, Allu Arjun reached Geetha Arts office before reaching home. Geetha Arts is one of the largest and popular film production and distribution company of South Indian cinema. It was started in 1972 by Allu Arjun’s father Allu Aravind. Actor Allu Arjun also runs it. After leaving his production house Geetha Arts, Allu went straight to his home with his family. Tight security arrangements were already made outside his house.
Why was Allu Arjun arrested?
Let us tell you that on December 4, a woman lost her life due to a stampede during the special screening of ‘Pushpa 2’ at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad. Actor Allu Arjun was arrested last night (13 December) in this case. After Allu Arjun was sent on 14-day remand, he was taken to Chanchalguda Central Jail on Friday.
Later, Telangana High Court granted him interim bail on a personal bond of Rs 50,000. But even after this he had to spend the night in jail, because it was reportedly said that the copies of the bail order were not uploaded online, due to which the actor had to spend the night in jail.
His lawyer Ashok Reddy criticized the Hyderabad jail authorities for not complying with the bail order given to the actor. The lawyer said, ‘Hyderabad Police and Chanchalguda jail administration had received a copy of the High Court order yesterday itself, in which the jail superintendent was clearly directed to release Allu Arjun immediately. The Superintendent had also given instructions to ensure his release, but the jail administration did not release him. This was illegal detention and he will have to answer for it. We will take legal action.
