Gwalior Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will come on a one-day visit to Gwalior on 15th December, he will inaugurate the Geo Science Museum here. After reaching the university, Jiwaji will participate in the unveiling program of the statue of Jiwajirao Scindia and will go to Jaivilas Palace, the residence of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia.
According to the program released by the district administration, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will arrive at the airbase airport on December 15 at around 10:55 am by a special Air Force aircraft. As per the scheduled programme, the Vice President will leave from the airport by road and reach Maharaj Bada at 11:25 am and inaugurate the Geo Science Museum. After this, after reaching Jiwaji University at around 11:45 am, he will participate in the unveiling program of the statue of Jiwajirao Scindia as the chief guest.
Union Minister will go to Jaivilas Palace, the residence of Scindia
After attending the statue unveiling program, Vice President Dhankhar will reach Jaivilas Palace at 1 pm. Will leave from Jaivilas Palace at 2 pm and reach the Air Force airport and will leave for New Delhi by a special Air Force plane at around 2:30 pm.
Minister Rakesh Shukla will be “Minister in Waiting”
New and Renewable Energy Minister Rakesh Shukla has been named “Minister in Waiting” by the state government to welcome and bid farewell to Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar. Minister Rakesh Shukla will welcome the Vice President at Gwalior airport and will also see him off at the airport on his return.
Two galleries have been built inside the museum.
A massive fire broke out in Victoria Market on the night of 4 June 2010. Due to this, part of the building collapsed. The Municipal Corporation had given the work of beautifying the said building to Sudarshan Engineering. Director Sanjay Mittal says that work on the building was done in two phases. In the first phase, an identical building was erected and then in the second phase, the work of air conditioning and electricity etc. was done inside the building.
GSI took possession of the said building for the museum. In this, two galleries were prepared for tourists at a cost of Rs 25 crore. Tourists will experience earthquake here. How does a volcano erupt inside the earth? This will also be shown. Many valuable objects including a dinosaur egg will be seen here. Deputy Director General SS Sarkar says that this will be the first such museum in Asia.
