This action was taken in the case of death of a woman in the stampede that broke out at the screening of his film. After the hearing in the court, the actor was sent to judicial custody for 14 days. Earlier on Friday, December 13, Allu Arjun was detained from his house by Chikkadpally police. A case was registered against Allu Arjun at Chikkadpally police station under sections 105 and 118 (1) of BNS. From there he was brought to Chikkadpally police station for questioning, and then produced in the court.

What is the allegation against Allu Arjun?
Allu Arjun is accused of arriving at the premiere of his film ‘Pushpa 2’ at Sandhya Theater on December 4 without informing him. Due to this there was a stampede there. A huge crowd started trying to enter the theatre. 39 year old woman Revati and her son were buried in this. Both of them became unconscious due to breathlessness. When the police took Revathi and her son to the hospital, the doctors declared Revathi dead. The son’s condition was said to be critical.

Revathi’s husband and family members held Allu Arjun responsible for this and filed a complaint against him at Chikkadpally station. Based on the family’s complaint, the police registered a case against Allu Arjun and his security team as well as the theater management under sections 105 and 118 (1) of the BNS. In this case, the theater owner, manager and balcony supervisor have already been arrested and all three are in judicial custody.
