The good governance and sensitive government of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai is determined to provide permanent roof to the houseless families. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, assistance is given to the poor and homeless people of the country to build houses, and with the help of this amount, citizens living below the poverty line are able to build their own houses. The work of providing housing to the homeless and poor citizens of India is being continuously done by the government.
Ranay, a resident of Gram Panchayat Kudhargaon of the district, has expressed his gratitude to the government for getting a permanent residence. Ranay earns his living by farming and laboring. Housing was approved under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural in the year 2022-23. Ranay and his family earlier lived in a house made of raw roof tiles, due to which the family had to face many problems. It became difficult to live in a kutcha house during the rainy season due to water dripping from the roof and dampness. Apart from this, there was also danger of insects, spiders and poisonous animals in the kutcha house.
Now after getting a permanent house, they got relief from all these problems. The beneficiaries are very happy with the completion of the Prime Minister’s residence and are living in their new residence. He told that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Gramin Yojana, he has received an amount of Rs 1 lakh 30 thousand directly in his bank account. Ranay expressed gratitude to the Chhattisgarh government and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai.
