The BI cell team of Central Region Electricity Distribution Company has issued a bill of Rs 46 lakh 11 thousand 694 after Tilakram Sweets, located in Bhanpur area of Bhopal, was found to be using two and a half times more than the sanctioned load of the electricity connection installed in its establishment. .
It is noteworthy that the Central Region Electricity Distribution Company is running an intensive checking campaign in the consumer premises to check the consumers who are using more load than the sanctioned load. If increased load is found during investigation, bills are being issued by imposing fine on the basis of consumption. Similarly, on suspicion by the BI cell under Bhopal city circle of the Central Region Electricity Distribution Company, the average consumption and load of the consumers was analyzed from the MRI data of the meter of LT High Value Consumer. In this the consumer Tilakram Sweets, Bhanpur, found a shortfall in the bill issued as per the consumption recorded as per the sanctioned load of 45 kilowatts and the bill issued as per the maximum demand. BI Cell team including Deputy General Manager BI Cell Mr. Ajay Wadhwani, Manager Mrs. Ritu Vajpayee, Mr. Sharad Pathak and Assistant Manager Mr. Harshad Kekare. The electricity meter and load installed in the consumer’s premises were checked. In consumer. Tilakram Sweets Bhanpur found that the load was almost two and a half times more than the sanctioned load of 109 kilowatts and the MF (Multiplication Factor) of the meter was 20, on which immediate action was taken.
These days, a comprehensive checking campaign of the premises of low pressure non-domestic and industrial (power) consumers is being conducted by the Central Region Electricity Distribution Company. During this campaign, cases of increase in electrical load in consumer premises are being detected. The company is also making consumers aware to voluntarily increase the electricity load. The company has appealed to the consumers to get the load increased by making a voluntary online application.
