Madheshwar mountain located in Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh has been recognized as the world’s largest natural replica of Shivalinga. This historic achievement has got a place in the Golden Book of World Records. Madheshwar Pahad has been recorded in the record book as the ‘Largest Natural Facsimile of Shivalinga’. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai congratulated the people of the state for this achievement and described it as a new dimension in the achievements of tourism in the state.
Golden Book of Records representatives Mrs. Hemal Sharma and Amit Soni met Chief Minister Sai today at his office in Mantralaya and handed over the certificate of world record to him. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Food Minister Dayal Das Baghel, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Industries Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade were present.
