ISKCON’s Prachar Rath will propagate Srimad Bhagavad Gita all over India

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Ujjain, the city of Baba Mahakal, which has always been the center point of religious and spiritual energy, is today looking more grand, divine and energetic due to the recitation of Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta. To clearly explain the intricacies of the three paths of liberation – Bhaktiyoga, Gyanyoga and Karmayoga by using Arjun as a medium, Lord Shri Krishna had manifested His vast form in Kurukshetra on the day of Mokshada Ekadashi and given the message of knowledge in the form of Srimad Bhagavad Gita. The essence of the Vedas is in the Upanishads and the essence of the Upanishads is in the Srimad Bhagavad Gita. In this sense, Srimad Bhagavad Gita is a crash course in the world’s oldest and richest spiritual encyclopedia. Nowadays the meaning of religion is linked only to the method of worship, but in Sanatan culture the real meaning of religion was ideal code of conduct. Srimad Bhagavad Gita is a manifestation of that ideal conduct of living life. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the International Geeta Mahotsav in Ujjain on Wednesday.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Lord Krishna has a deep connection with Madhya Pradesh and Ujjain. After killing Kansa, Lord Krishna made Maharaja Ugrasen the king again and himself came to Sandipani Ashram in Ujjain and received education in 64 arts. It shows the importance of education in human life and connects Madhya Pradesh and Ujjain with the eternal tradition of education. In the Mahabharata war, Lord Shri Krishna gave his Narayani army to the Kauravas and himself remained on the side of the Pandavas. Lord Krishna’s Narayani army was so disciplined that its soldiers did not flee the battlefield and remained in the war till the end.
The teachings of Karmayoga are obtained from Shrimad Bhagavad Geeta which came from the mouth of Lord Shri Krishna. Not only in India, people all over the world are following the teachings of Geeta. Shrimad Bhagavad Geeta gives the message of peace, tolerance, justice, ideal life values and dignity in the lives of living beings. For this reason, Sanatan culture exists in all its glory even after thousands of years.
The message of Geeta inspires us to dedicate every moment of our lives for the welfare of mankind. Whether you are a student, a housewife, a businessman, an employee, or an officer, whether you are a Hindu, a Buddhist, a Jain, a Sikh, a Christian or a Muslim, Srimad Bhagavad Gita will help you become better in your own field and in your own sect. Therefore, to achieve the goal in life, we all should recite the divine text of Shrimad Bhagavad Geeta. The knowledge of Geeta is for everyone, Geeta is the real word of God, Geeta is divine speech.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that today in Bhopal, Bhagwat devotees have created a unique world record by reciting Geeta. We are also including Geeta ji in the curriculum in Madhya Pradesh. More than 45 lakh children participated in the competition for school students based on Srimad Bhagavad Geeta and won prizes.
Under Shri Krishna Patheya, pilgrimage sites will be built where Lord Krishna’s feet fall.
Krishna Patheya is being constructed in the state, under which all the places related to Lord Krishna present in the state will be developed as pilgrimage sites. Shri Krishna Janmashtami was organized with great pomp by the state government. On Shri Krishna Janmashtami, educational programs were organized in educational institutions on various topics related to the life of Lord Shri Krishna.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited the painting exhibition of Chamba artist Vijay Sharma made in the Pahari style of ‘Shrimad Bhagwat Purana’ in the Academy premises. He flagged off the Srimad Bhagavad Geeta Prachar Rath of ISKCON temple after offering prayers. This Prachar Rath will propagate Shrimad Bhagavad Geeta all over India. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gave awards to the winners of the student competition organized on Shrimad Bhagavad Geeta and value based education. After distributing the awards, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav discussed with Chris Martin and sent his best wishes for coming first. Chris Martin told that despite belonging to a Christian family, he studies and respects Srimad Bhagavad Geeta. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav released the books Ganesh Geeta, Shri Ram Geeta, Sridevi Geeta, Shri Shiv Geeta, Shriyam Geeta, Indian Knowledge Tradition, Indianization of Time.
The guests were welcomed by Shri Ram Tiwari, Director of Samrat Vikramaditya Research Chair, by giving a welcome address. The program was thanked by Rajesh Kushwaha. On this occasion, MLA Anil Jain Kaluhera, Mayor Mukesh Tatwal, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Anantpurna Giri Ji Maharaj, Param Pujya Bhaktiprem Swami Maharaj, Swami Ranganathacharya Maharaj, Ramnath Maharaj were present.
