Helion, a world renowned company in pharma and consumer health products, is going to make a big investment in Madhya Pradesh. This UK based company has asked for 40 acres of land in Pithampur, Indore. There is a plan to invest more than Rs 2 thousand crore here. On Wednesday, the company’s delegation reached the Smart Industrial Park and Pharma SEZ of Pithampur and selected the land.

Helion Group representatives reached Industrial Park

Helion Group Asia-Pacific Head Cath McGinnis, Technical Head Randev Gunasinghe, Director Anup Dhingra, Corporate Affairs Director Vaidika Kapoor and Project Manager Mohit Asati reached Indore on Wednesday. Meeting the officials, he visited Pithampur Industrial Area.

Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) Executive Director Rajesh Rathore gave important information related to projects, investment and employment to the company representatives.

CM Mohan Yadav had invited
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav had gone to England, Germany and Italy to invite foreign companies under the investment promotion program in the last week of November. During this time he had also invited representatives of Helion Group. After which the company has expressed interest in investing in MP.

No plant of Helion Group
Helion Group Asia-Pacific Head Cath McGinnis said that we do not yet have independent plants in India. Our company works here as a joint venture. Want to set up the first plant in Pithampur, Indore.

The company currently does not have a single plant in the country, although it is working as a joint venture. In this context, a big UK company is going to start its operations from Indore. The company’s 5-member team has arrived, which includes group Asia-Pacific head Cath McGinnis, technical head Randev Gunasinghe, director Anoop Dhingra, corporate affairs director Vaidika Kapoor and project manager Mohit Asati.

The team visited Pithampur Industrial Area along with MPIDC (MP Industrial Development Corporation) officials. Executive Director Rajesh Rathore informed him about the ongoing projects, investments and employment here.

Company has come after invitation received during CM’s visit

In the last week of November, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav went to England, Germany and Italy to invite foreign companies for investment. During that time he had discussions with representatives of Helion Group. That’s when the company expressed its desire to invest in the state.
