Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla has said that efforts are being made rapidly to expand infrastructure and purchase modern equipment to ensure availability of advanced health services in every area of the state. It should be ensured that services reach common citizens on time. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla reviewed the procurement process being done in the Ministry to ensure availability of state-of-the-art medical equipment in various district hospitals and cancer hospitals of the state.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla directed that along with infrastructure development, availability of necessary equipment should be ensured. He instructed the departmental officers to continuously monitor the process and complete the work of purchasing equipment within the time limit. He inquired about the updated status of the procurement process of advanced equipment like CT Scan, MRI, Cath Lab, Pet-Scan, Linac, and Brachy-Therapy.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla reviewed the availability of medicines and consumables in the medical institutions of the state. He said that it should be ensured that the said material is available in the institutions as per requirement. He also reviewed the preparations for the transfer portal. He said that this portal will ensure convenient and transparent system. He gave instructions to further improve the portal at the departmental level so that there is no inconvenience in the transfer process. Principal Secretary Health and Medical Education Shri Sandeep Yadav, Commissioner Health and Medical Education Shri Tarun Rathi, MD MPPHSCL Shri Mayank Aggarwal and departmental officers were present.
