Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang has given instructions to showcase water sports activities at Lake View once a week with the aim of attracting youth and citizens towards water sports activities. He said that an event program should also be made for this, in which the entire city can watch water sports activities. In this, cooperation of other departments including Municipal Corporation and Tourism Department should also be taken. Minister Sarang was reviewing water sports activities at the Water Sports Academy on Monday.

Sports provide discipline, values ​​and career
Minister Sarang said that efforts should also be made to make parents aware about sports. Youth get discipline, values ​​and career from sports. The event program will awaken the attraction and spirit of sports among children and youth by watching sports activities. He also asked to screen short films of water sports activities through LED in the Water Sports Academy.

Document profile of players should be ready
Minister Sarang said that a diary of the players of the academy should be prepared, in this document the performance and achievements in sports along with their details should be recorded in the profile. Physical activity should also be included. He said that a proposal should be prepared regarding expectations and grants from the Government of India to promote sports activities.

Minister Sarang said that success stories of excellent players should also be prepared. It should be showcased on social media, print and electronic media, this will attract youth towards sports and it will be easier to search for talent.

Efforts should be made to attract school children towards the academy.
Minister Sarang said that there is immense potential in water sports, shooting and hockey in Madhya Pradesh. Every effort should be made in this direction. To attract school children to the academy, our aim should be to make this information available to them. For this, they will have to be made aware through various types of programs.

Minister Sarang said that there should be no shortage of equipment for water sports. Also, the coach and trainer should be assessed and arrangements will be made accordingly. Through talent search, only those children who have interest in sports should be selected. For this, “Khelo-Badho” campaign should be included.
