Talented players of the state, Hemant Singh and Usman Ali Khan have brought glory to Madhya Pradesh by winning medals at the national level by performing brilliantly in the discus throw of under-18 boys category.
Hemant Singh won the gold medal with a throw of 57.98 metres, his first national medal. Whereas Usman Ali Khan won the bronze medal with a throw of 54.44 meters. Both the players are currently receiving training in the state sports academy under the guidance of Mohammad Hadith and Sandeep Singh.
Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang congratulated both the players on their achievement and said that this success is the result of their hard work and the dedication of their coaches. He expressed hope that in future these players will bring glory to the state and the country at the international level also.
