Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated the new building of Rawatpura Government Institute of Medical Sciences.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today inaugurated the new building of Rawatpura Government Institute of Medical Sciences in Nava Raipur. On this occasion, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Finance Minister O. P. Chaudhary, MLA Inder Kumar Sahu, Ravi Shankar Ji Maharaj and Dean of Medical College Dr. Kundan E. Gedam were present.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister visited various departments and state-of-the-art classrooms of the Medical College and took stock of the facilities available here. He oversaw the work of teaching and learning in many other departments including Anatomy Museum, Dissection Hall, Lab, Community Medicine Department. During his visit to the medical college, he was informed that state-of-the-art technology and resources have been made available here, so that students will be able to get quality education.

It is noteworthy that 150 seats are available for medical studies in Shri Rawatpura Government Institute of Medical Sciences and Research. The first session of the Medical College has started from this year itself.

Various medical units inaugurated at Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today inaugurated various medical units at Sri Rawatpura Government Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital. The Chief Minister took stock of the health facilities available in the 650-bed hospital. During this, he inaugurated the new CT Scan, MRI Unit, Dialysis Unit and Emergency Medicine Unit in the hospital.

On this occasion, he said that through the new facilities, patients will be able to get accurate and quick treatment. On this occasion, the Chief Minister interacted with the hospital staff and doctors and appreciated their work. He said that the medical college and hospital will not only meet the regional needs but will also provide state-of-the-art health services to the patients in the surrounding areas. Availability of state-of-the-art facilities like MRI and CT scan will facilitate detection and treatment of complex diseases. The launch of the Emergency Unit will make emergency medical services faster and effective. He said that the Medical College will provide better opportunities for medical education to the youth of the area and people will get the benefit of health services.
