Naxalites killed a female Anganwadi assistant on suspicion of being a police informer in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. An official gave this information on Saturday. He said that this incident happened on Friday night in Thimmapur village of Buguda police station area.
The police officer said that according to preliminary information, some unidentified Naxalites entered the house of Lakshmi Padam (45) in the village and strangled her to death in front of her family. They threw the body in the courtyard of the house and fled.
He said that after receiving information about this, a police team reached the spot and the body was sent for post-mortem. A pamphlet issued by the Madad Area Committee of Maoists was found at the spot, in which they have accused the woman of working as a police informer.
Naxalite pamphlets found near the dead body, Allegation of informer: It is being told that the woman was first picked up from the house. After that, after murder, his body was thrown in the courtyard of the house. A pamphlet of Maoist organization Madde Area Committee was also found near the dead body. In which it has been written that the dead woman was murdered after accusing her of being a police informer. At present, Basaguda police station has taken further action after taking possession of the body.

Murder of two former sarpanches in Bijapur: Earlier on Thursday, Naxalites killed two former sarpanches in Bhairamgarh and Naimed of Bijapur. The Naxalites first kidnapped both the sarpanches and then killed them and threw the bodies near the village. Naxalites also threw pamphlets near the dead body. In which Naxalites wrote about committing murder because of being associated with BJP.
