The closing ceremony of the 15-day Acting Inspector and Acting Assistant Sub Inspector Induction Session organized at Madhya Pradesh Police Academy, Bhaunri and Police Training School (PTS), Bhaunri, was concluded on December 5. On this occasion, the program was presided over by Additional Director General of Police (ADG) Dinesh Chandra Sagar.
The program was inaugurated by Superintendent of Police PTS, Smt. Rashmi Pandey, who highlighted the various activities and content of the training session. He said that during this training, the participants were given intensive training on new laws, cyber crime, women’s safety, juvenile justice, precautions of deliberation, and having 360° approach in work.
Do excellent work while remaining within the scope of the Constitution
Chief guest Dinesh Chandra Sagar started his address by leading a collective reading of the Preamble of the Constitution. He inspired the policemen to do excellent work while remaining within the ambit of the Constitution. He said that devotion to duty and public service is the basis of success.
Referring to the “Vijay Rath” episode of Ramayana, ADG Sagar stressed on the development of 12 qualities in the policemen like bravery, patience, truth, modesty, strength, prudence, self-control, forgiveness, grace and equality. Quoting poems of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and other poets, he talked about adopting a positive outlook in life.
Advice to focus on health and family
Sagar discussed the importance of health, balanced diet, yoga and meditation in the busy job of police. He advised to avoid fast food and make good use of time. Also, policemen were motivated to help their families, especially children, in their studies and increase communication with them.
Other highlights of the program
On this occasion the participants shared their experiences. The program was staged by Operations Inspector Mrs. Anita Nagvanshi, and at the end Assistant Director (Administration/Training) Neeraj Pandey expressed his gratitude.
The session was successfully concluded with the aim of professional and personal development of the policemen as well as to make their role more effective in the society.
