Incidents of atrocities on Hindus and vandalism of temples have now become common in Bangladesh. ISKCON temple has once again been targeted in Bangladesh and it was set on fire. ISKCON Kolkata Vice President Radharaman Das told the media that an ISKCON building was set on fire in the early hours of Saturday. Even the idol of Lord Krishna got burnt due to the fire. He told that an ISKCON center has also been targeted.

He said, atrocities on minorities are not stopping in Bangladesh. We are extremely sad about this. He said that the temples were vandalized and arsoned between 2 and 3 in the morning. He said on social media platform X, ISKCON Namhat Center was set on fire in Bangladesh. The idol of Shri Lakshmi Narayan was burnt. This temple is in Dhaka.

Das said, between 2 and 3 in the morning, the miscreants set fire to the Radha Krishna Mantri and Mahabhagya Lakshmi Narayan temples under Namhat Sangh. The tin shed of the temple was removed and petrol was first poured on it and then set on fire. Let us tell you that after the arrest of ISKCON priest Chinmoy Das in Bangladesh, there is already anger in India. There is opposition to this in West Bengal also. Chinmoy Das was arrested on charges of treason.

ISKCON had earlier also claimed that many of its centers and temples in Bangladesh have been forcibly closed. Das had also advised ISKCON priests of Bangladesh to stop wearing saffron robes to protect themselves. Do not apply tilak on the forehead and also keep the Tulsi rosary hidden. This matter was also raised in Parliament. An appeal was made in the Parliament to the government to take some steps for the protection of Hindus in Bangladesh.
