Krishak Unnati Yojana has been started with the aim of improving the economic condition of farmers in Chhattisgarh. The objective of this scheme is to give farmers an opportunity to sell their crops at a fair price and to promote advanced technologies for agriculture. Through this, purchase of paddy, use of modern agricultural equipment and investment in new agricultural technologies are being encouraged.
One such farmer is Shri Komal Sahu of village Bhatgaon of Dhamtari district. He says that he received Rs 1 lakh 51 thousand under the Kisan Unnati Yojana in exchange for the paddy sold by him at the support price. With this amount he got the bone mined and bought a buffalo. They say with pride that we as farmers work, but after receiving funds under the scheme, they are getting help in increasing farming work and other facilities. For this he expressed his wholehearted gratitude to the state head Shri Vishnudev Sai. Let us tell you that under Krishak Unnati Yojana, farmers are being provided input assistance of Rs 19,257 per acre.
