A fake doctor gang exposed in Surat, Gujarat, 13 people arrested

A fake doctor gang has been exposed in Surat, Gujarat, in which 13 people have been arrested, including 10 fake doctors. The gang used to sell ‘Bachelor of Electro-Homeopathy Medicine and Surgery’ (BEMS) degree. Surat Police exposed this gang and told that these people were making even 8th pass people doctors without any qualification for just 70 thousand rupees.

How did the gang work?
The gang members were running a fake website to give fake degrees, on which registration of BEMS degrees was done. The accused had established a board under which five people used to provide training in electro-homeopathy. Initially this gang was using a fake board to give degrees, but later they started giving degrees issued by the Ayush Ministry of Gujarat. These people claimed that their degrees were recognized by the state government.

what did the gang do
The gang members used to sell degrees for Rs 70,000 and also provide training. Apart from this, they used to charge another Rs 1,500 to Rs 5,000 every year in the name of registration renewal fees and protection money. These fake doctors had given guarantee to their customers that they can practice medical practice in Allopathy, Homeopathy and Arogya without any problem.

Police arrested 13 people
In this case, the police have arrested a total of 13 people, out of which three accused were selling BEMS degrees. The arrested accused have been identified as BK Rawat, Rashesh Gujarati and Irfan Syed, residents of Surat. This incident is an example of how some people were committing fraud in the name of medical degree in Surat and illegally playing with the health services of the people.
