Decision on OBC reservation may be taken today in the cabinet meeting in Chhattisgarh


Chhattisgarh Chief Minister CM Vishnudev Sai will hold a cabinet meeting today. Many big issues will be discussed in this meeting. There is a possibility of approval if the ordinance regarding OBC reservation is presented.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers will be held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai at 3 pm on Monday at Mahanadi Mantralaya Bhavan. In this, there is a possibility of the ordinance prepared regarding OBC reservation being introduced and approved.

After the approval of OBC reservation, the State Election Commission can announce the election schedule any time after December 15. The final publication of the voter list will be done by the State Election Commission on December 11. Let us tell you that before this, the meeting of the Council of Ministers was held on 26 November, in which many decisions were taken.

Committed to bringing transparency through technology in CGPSC: Chaudhary

Regarding the examinations conducted by PSC, Finance Minister OP Chaudhary said that the government is committed to bringing transparency in the entire system through technology. PSC has been given an open assurance that there will be no shortage of requirements like software, consultancy, new setup and manpower. Every possible effort will be made to provide necessary resources within 24 hours.

While discussing with the media, Finance Minister Choudhary said that only when the intentions are clear, the system works properly. We are serious about transparency at every step. OP Chaudhary further said that the definition of family was very limited during the Congress rule. Uncle and nephew could sit during the interview. Presently the definition of family has been expanded.

Instructions given to make concrete arrangements to protect paddy from rain

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has given instructions to take precautionary measures in the procurement centers to save paddy from rain. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, Food Minister Dayaldas Baghel has asked the collectors of all the districts to ensure necessary security arrangements. Food Minister Baghel said that purchasing paddy at support price is the top priority of the government. The grand campaign of paddy procurement, which started from 14th November, will continue till 31st January.

So far 18.09 lakh tonnes have been purchased. 3.85 lakh farmers have sold paddy. Rs 3706 crore 69 lakh has been paid under the bank linking system. 27.68 lakh farmers have registered for the Kharif year, which includes 1.45 lakh new farmers.

Food Minister Baghel said that it is purchasing paddy from farmers at support price. Facility to withdraw amount ranging from Rs 2,000 to Rs 10,000 has been provided from micro ATMs in procurement centres.
