Center called an all-party meeting before the Parliament session, strong uproar expected in the House


New Delhi.

The winter session of Parliament is going to start from Monday, before that the Central Government called an all-party meeting on Sunday. The objective of this meeting is to reach a consensus among the parties for the smooth running of the winter session of Parliament. It is worth noting that the winter session of Parliament is expected to be very noisy, but after the victory in Maharashtra elections, the ruling BJP may definitely get some relief.

The all-party meeting has been organized by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. Leaders of Congress, Trinamool Congress, DMK, Shiv Sena, BJD and other parties attended this meeting. The winter session will start from Monday i.e. 25th November and will continue till 20th December. During this session, the opposition will try to corner the government on the issue of Waqf Amendment Bill, Manipur violence. At the same time, the opposition is also attacking the Center regarding the allegations leveled by America against industrialist Gautam Adani. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi has demanded a Joint Committee of Parliament (JPC) inquiry into the Gautam Adani case. The JPC formed to discuss the Waqf Amendment Bill is likely to present its report at the end of the initial week of the winter session. However, opposition MPs included in the JPC are demanding more time to submit the report. The meeting also discussed the program of the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution on 26 November in the Central Hall of the Constituent Assembly.

These bills can be introduced in the winter session
During the winter session, the government may introduce the Punjab Courts Amendment Bill, Merchant Shipping Bill, Coastal Shipping Bill and Indian Ports Bill. Apart from these, the Indian Aircraft Bill, which has been passed by the Lok Sabha, is pending in the Rajya Sabha. According to the Lok Sabha Bulletin, eight bills are pending in the Lok Sabha, including the Waqf Amendment Bill and the Muslim Waqf Bill. Also two bills are pending in Rajya Sabha. There is little hope of introducing the One Nation One Election Bill in this Parliament session.
