The Bitcoin controversy is gaining momentum amid voting for the assembly elections in Maharashtra. It is reported that the ED team has reached Gaurav Mehta’s house in Raipur in the Bitcoin dispute case. In the 2018 crypto currency scam case, the ED team is searching the house of auditee company employee Gaurav Mehta in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
Let us tell you that Gaurav Mehta’s name has come after the revelations of former IPS officer Ravindranath Patil. Patil had named Mehta as the main witness in this 2018 scam. Actually, Gaurav Mehta was working for the consultancy which was helping Pune Police in the crypto currency scam of Rs 6600 crore.
Former IPS officer Ravindranath Patil had claimed on Tuesday that Supriya Sule and Nana Patole had contacted Gaurav Mehta for cash in exchange for Bitcoin and used this money in the Maharashtra elections.
Supriya Sule had denied the allegations
Giving clarification on the ongoing controversy over Bitcoin, Supriya Sule said that her voice is not in the audio clip being circulated in the media. Of course he should be checked. Supriya said that she has complained about this in cyber crime.
Supriya said that BJP spokesperson PC, many people called me, I have given a notice of criminal defamation against Sudhanshu Trivedi. Let us tell you that BJP had accused Supriya Sule and Nana Patole of bitcoin transactions.
Sule said that I am ready to answer five questions of him (Sudhanshu Trivedi). Wherever he wants, he can choose the same place and platform. I am ready to answer all his allegations.
BJP leader had made allegations
BJP leader Sudhanshu Trivedi held a press conference on this matter and just before voting, making serious allegations against Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) and asking Congress whether they are involved in any transaction of Bitcoin? Apart from this, the BJP leader also accused Supriya Sule and Nana Patole.
Trivedi said that very serious and worrying facts have come to light, which are gradually exposing the corruption of MVA. This is a serious question on free and fair elections. Showing the print out of WhatsApp chats, he said that these chats and notes show how Bitcoin transactions were being done by Supriya Sule and Nana Patole.
BJP claimed that voice notes were exchanged between Nana Patole, Supriya Sule, Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta and dealer Amitabh.
