Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai told the CRPF soldiers that the way you have achieved historic successes in the last 11 months in ending Naxalite terrorism is being appreciated in the entire country. With the contribution that you people are making in the development of Bastar by staying away from your family and giving up comforts, you have made a place for yourself forever in the hearts of the tribal communities here. Shri Sai was addressing the soldiers at the Sedwa camp of the Central Reserve Police Force in Bastar district.
When Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai suddenly arrived at the CRPF camp, the soldiers welcomed him warmly with surprise and joy. While interacting cordially with the security forces, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that when I had come to Chitrakot for the meeting of Bastar Area Tribal Development Authority, I had a great desire to meet all you soldiers. All of you have a very important contribution in the success achieved on the Naxal front in Chhattisgarh in the last 11 months. I salute the courage of all of you. The success you all are achieving in the Naxal campaign is being praised in the entire country. Whenever I meet Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, he definitely mentions the success of Chhattisgarh in the Naxal campaign. Home Minister Shri Amit Shah has been providing continuous guidance and support in the Naxal operation.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that we have resolved to completely destroy Naxalism in Bastar by the year 2026. This is also the message of our illustrious Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Home Minister Shri Amit Shah. In Bastar, police and security forces personnel have killed more than 200 Naxalites in a short period. More than 740 Maoist cadres have surrendered. They have given up violence and joined the mainstream of democracy. The government has made such a policy for the rehabilitation of Naxalites who have given up violence that a large number of Naxalites will surrender in the coming days. On the request of the security forces to rest for the night in the camp, he also rested for the night in the camp.
