Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana is one of the big schemes being run for the women of Madhya Pradesh. It was started by the previous Shivraj Singh Chouhan government in May 2023, first Rs 1000 is given but currently under this scheme, women get Rs 15,000 annually at the rate of Rs 1250 per month.
A total of 18 installments of monthly financial assistance amount have been transferred from June 2023 to November 2024. Now the 19th installment of the scheme will come on 10th December. Since usually the installment of the scheme is released on the 10th of every month, however festivals Considering that the installment is released even before time, here, after the CM’s indication of increasing the amount, it is expected that the amount of the scheme can be increased in the new year 2025. However, official confirmation is yet to be done.
In fact, recently during his speech in Vijaypur Assembly of Indore and Sheopur, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav had indicated to increase the amount of Ladli Brahmin Scheme. In his address in Indore, CM had said that in the beginning of the scheme, Rs 1000 were given to the eligible Ladli sisters. After this this amount was increased to Rs 1250. This amount will be increased further.
Apart from this, even before the by-election voting, the CM in Vijaypur had said that at present the government is collecting Rs 1,250, it (monthly assistance) will also be increased from Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000, this is the policy of the government. Earlier in October, in Vijaypur Assembly, CM had said that we started giving Rs 1000/- per month to Ladli Brahmin, then increased it to Rs 1250/-. In the coming time, we will take it to Rs 3000/- per month, this is our resolve.

Ladli Brahmin Yojana was launched by the previous Shivraj Singh Chouhan government in May 2023.
In this, it was decided to give Rs 1000 to married women aged between 21 to 60 years and then its first installment was released on June 10.
After this, the amount was increased to Rs 1250 on Rakshabandhan 2023.
Now under this scheme, women get Rs 15,000 annually at the rate of Rs 1250 per month.
A total of 17 installments of monthly financial assistance amount have been transferred to the beloved sisters from June 2023 to October 2024.
Apart from this, special financial assistance amounting to Rs 250 was also transferred to the beneficiary women in the months of August 2023 and 2024 (a total of 2 times).
Who gets the benefit of Ladli Brahmin Yojana?
In this scheme, all married women (including widows, divorced and abandoned) local residents of Madhya Pradesh born after January 1, 1963 but till January 1, 2000 are considered eligible to apply in the year 2023.
Women, themselves or their family should not be taxpayers. The annual income of the family should be Rs 2.5 lakh.
If there is a joint family, then there should not be more than 5 acres of land, no person in the family should be doing a government job. There should not be a tractor or four-wheeler at home.
If a woman is below 60 years of age and is already receiving less than Rs 1250 per month under any other social security pension scheme, then that woman will also be given an amount up to Rs 1250.
Married women also include widows and divorced women. The applicant must have completed 21 years of age on January 1 of the year in which the application is made and the maximum age must be less than 60 years.
