To avail the benefits of Chief Minister Teerth Darshan Yojana, you can now apply till 22nd November. Senior citizens of the state are provided free travel to designated pilgrimage places outside the state.
The annual income of the family should be less than Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand
Senior citizens who are 60 years of age or above and the annual family income is less than Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand will get the benefit of the scheme.
Important guidelines of Chief Minister Teerth Darshan Scheme
- The applicant has to fill the application form in Hindi only.
- A colored passport size photograph has to be attached in the application.
- Mobile number will have to be mentioned in case of emergency.
- It is mandatory to provide residential address while applying.
- The senior citizen will have to maintain good conduct during the journey.
The state government will bear all the expenses of the journey
Under this scheme, members above 60 years of age will be taken for pilgrimage to Ayodhya, Varanasi and other holy places. The state government will bear all the expenses of his travel.

Eligibility: Citizens of Madhya Pradesh aged 60 years or above can apply for this scheme.

Operation of the scheme: This scheme will be operated by the Religious Trust and Endowment Department through Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation.
