In the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, BJP had promised to build Medicity in every division. Now the state’s first medical center is going to be built in Ujjain. CM Dr. Mohan Yadav is also going to perform the Bhoomi Pujan of the Medical College in Ujjain on 21st November.

Madhya Pradesh’s first Medicity will be built in Ujjain. Apart from the medical college, there will be nursing college, paramedical college, research facilities and accommodation for doctors, officers and employees.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will perform the Bhoomi Pujan of the Medical College on Thursday (November 21). It is being prepared to start before Simhastha to be held in the year 2028. There will be 100 MBBS seats in the college. Apart from this, it will have a 550 bed hospital with state-of-the-art medical facilities.

Will be built at a cost of Rs 592 crore

The number of beds in the college will be increased later. The college will be built at a cost of Rs 592 crore. Let us tell you, before the assembly elections, BJP in its resolution letter had promised to build a medical center like AIIMS in every divisional headquarters.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said in a discussion with the media that the first medical center of the state is going to be built in Ujjain. The state government is serious about further improving medical services and medical education. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, work is being done on a new concept looking at health and medicine holistically through medical services and AYUSH.

Airport every 200 km and helipad in development block

An airport will be built every 200 km in Madhya Pradesh. These airports will be built on PPP (Public Private Partnership) mode. At the same time, an airstrip will also be built at a distance of 150 km so that air traffic can be available to reach remote areas at the district level in the state.

With the development of airstrips, the possibilities of tourism and industry in the state will develop. Actually, Madhya Pradesh government is making its new aviation policy. Under this, the state government will work by preparing an action plan to encourage investment.

In this, the focus is on expanding air services to ease transportation. Apart from this, a helipad will be built at each development block level.

Flights will be started from small cities between two states

This work will be done by the Public Works Department. Short distance flights are being operated under the Regional Connectivity Scheme UDAN.

Small planes will be operated for religious tourist places

Small aircraft will be operated for religious tourist places. To connect religious and other famous tourist places with air services, the Tourism Department is going to bring aided schemes like Ventura, Archana Airways. An agreement has been reached between the Aviation Department and the Tourism Department. The Tourism Department is working on starting operations of flights on short routes under PPP.
