A youth died in a road accident in Nishatpura police station area on the intervening night of Friday-Saturday. He was a mechanical engineer in TCS company in Mumbai. He had come to his home in Berasia from Mumbai to meet his parents on Friday itself. After meeting his family, he left on a bike on Friday night to meet his brother living in Karond.
According to Nishatpura police station, 23-year-old Anand son of Puran Singh Rajput was a resident of Langarpur Berasia. After completing his engineering studies in Bhopal, he got a job in TCS company in Mumbai only six months ago. On Friday night, Anand had left the village asking to go to his brother Arvind who lives in Karond.
At around 3.30 am on Saturday morning, Puran Singh received information over the phone that his son Anand had been seriously injured in a road accident. He was hit by an unknown vehicle in front of Comfort Las Green Colony on Jail Road. He was the eldest son of the house.
Apart from his parents, he has a younger brother Arvind and a younger sister in the family. There is an atmosphere of mourning in the family after the incident. Police are investigating the cause of the accident with the help of CCTV installed around the incident site.
