Big blow to Team India before Perth Test… Rohit Sharma out, this player will captain

Mumbai
Team India had to face a crushing defeat of 0-3 in the recent Test series against New Zealand. Now the Indian cricket team is on Australia tour for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. On this tour, the Indian team has to play five test matches against host Australia. This Test series is also very important for India to reach the final of the World Test Championship (WTC).

The first match of the Test series between the two teams is to be played from 22 November (Friday) at Optus Stadium in Perth. However, even before this match, the Indian team has suffered a big setback. According to the information received by Aaj Tak, captain Rohit Sharma is out of this match. Rohit has become a father for the second time and he wants to stay with the family for a few days. However, Rohit will join the team before the Adelaide Test or during the Perth Test.

Now in the absence of Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah will captain the Indian team in the Perth Test. Apart from Rohit, Shubman Gill is also likely to be out of Perth Test. Shubman Gill got injured on his left thumb while taking a catch at second slip in the practice match. He looked in a lot of pain after the injury and immediately left the field for a scan. The second Test is starting in Adelaide from 6th December. It is expected that Shubman will be fit in time for that match.
