A massive fire broke out in the standing sugarcane crop spread over an area of more than 30 acres. Farmers have suffered losses worth lakhs of rupees due to the fire. As soon as information about the incident was received, the villagers started extinguishing the fire. However, despite considerable efforts the fire could not be controlled. The villagers immediately informed the fire department, but till the time of writing the news, the fire team had not reached the spot. The cause of the fire has not been known yet. This whole matter is of Kumhi village of Pandariya police station area.
It is being told that the area where more than 30 acres of standing sugarcane crop has caught fire are the fields of about 25 farmers. Farmers have suffered losses worth lakhs due to fire in sugarcane crops.
