There are continuous reports after reports regarding ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Meanwhile, the International Cricket Board i.e. ICC has announced that the Champions Trophy will come to India in the month of January. This has nothing to do with hosting, rather it would be because ICC organizes a trophy tour before big tournaments. Under this, ICC Champions Trophy is going to come to India from Pakistan. This has been announced officially by ICC.
ICC has said in a media release that the trophy tour of Champions Trophy 2025 has started from 16 November, which will run till 26 January 2025. The Champions Trophy will come to India last. The trophy tour will take place in different cities of Pakistan from 16 to 25 November, while the trophy will reach Afghanistan the next day. The trophy tour will take place in Afghanistan from 26 to 28 November and then the trophy will be in Bangladesh from 10 to 13 December. At the same time, the Champions Trophy tour will be held in South Africa from 15 to 22 December.
After South Africa, the Champions Trophy 2025 trophy tour will reach Australia, where the trophy will visit different cities of the country from December 25 to January 5. At the same time, the trophy will remain in New Zealand from 6th January to 11th January and then the trophy will travel to England from 12th to 14th January. After this will come India’s turn. The Champions Trophy will be held in India from 15 to 26 January. After this the trophy will go to Pakistan.
An event has been organized in Pakistan on 27 January. After this the remaining preparations for the tournament will begin. This tournament is to be played in February-March. However, according to the reports coming out so far, Pakistan will have to organize this tournament on hybrid model. India’s three league matches, one semi-final and final match can be played in Dubai.
