Horrific road accident in Khargone this morning, Scorpio hits Eeco car, 2 killed, 5 injured

A horrific road accident occurred in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh on Sunday morning. SDM written Scorpio hit Eeco car, due to which 2 people in the car died. 5 people are injured, including the Scorpio driver. The accident happened at 6.40 am on Sunday. The deceased have been identified as Ramlal and Shobharam. The car was going from Dalki to Burhanpur. The car was part of a wedding procession.

The Scorpio vehicle is said to belong to Sendhwa SDM of Barwani district. The injured driver is also undergoing treatment. The accident happened on the turn of Jawahar Marg in front of the PWD office. The injured have been admitted to the district hospital. Khargone Kotwali police is engaged in investigation. According to the police, there was a sharp collision between SDM written Scorpio (MP46T-0923) and Eeco vehicle (MP09WD-4439) on the diversion road in Khargone. In the tragic accident, 50-year-old Ramlal Mangilal and 49-year-old Shobharam Nathu Prajapat, residents of Dalki of Tandabarudh police station of the district, died on the spot. The family members are in bad condition, crying.

Kotwali police station sub-inspector Shriram Bhuria said that the wedding procession car was going from Tanda Barud police station Dalki to Burhanpur. During this time, there was a collision between an Eco car and a Scorpio car in front of the PWD office on the diversion road. Regarding the car with SDM written on it, Kotwali police say that only after investigation it will be known whose Scorpio car it was. Investigation is being done by setting up a road in the Kotwali police station.

It is being told that in front of the PWD office on Diversion Road, the SDM’s vehicle going towards Sendhwa at a high speed directly hit the Eeco car which was turning on Jawahar Marg. Treatment of 5 injured is going on in the district hospital. All are said to be out of danger. Both the vehicles were immediately removed from the spot by the police.
