America’s legendary boxer Mike Tyson has returned to professional boxing after almost 20 years. Before this, Tyson had played his last professional match in the year 2005 against Kevin McBride, in which he lost, now he has entered the ring against Jake Paul. The match between Tyson and Jake Paul is at AT&T Stadium in Arlington (USA).
This heavyweight match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul is of eight rounds. Tyson won the first round 10-9. In the second round also he won 10-9. Jake Paul made a comeback in the third round and landed some solid punches. Jake Paul won the third round 10-9. Then the fourth round was also in favor of Paul 10-9. After the fourth round the score was equal (38-38).
In the fifth round, Mike Tyson was hit hard in the face by Paul’s overhand punch. There is an age difference of 30 years between Jake and Tyson. Jake Paul won the fifth round and took the lead in the match. Paul also won the sixth, seventh and eighth rounds. After eight rounds the score was 78-74 in favor of Paul.
Mike Tyson is going to get 20 million dollars (about Rs 169 crore) from this match. Whereas his rival Jake Paul will reportedly get 40 million dollars (about Rs 338 crore).
Before this match, 58-year-old Tyson had won 50 matches as a professional boxer. Whereas they lost only six. In the year 1987, Tyson achieved the feat of becoming the youngest heavyweight champion. He was only 20 years old then. The special thing was that Tyson won 44 matches through knockout. Whereas 27 year old Jake Paul has become a professional boxer from YouTuber. He started professional boxing in the year 2020. Paul has won 10 out of 11 matches.

Before the match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, the power of India’s Neeraj Goyat was seen. Neeraj Goyat defeated Winderson Nunes of Brazil 60-54 in a six-round super middleweight match. Neeraj maintained his dominance over Winderson right from the initial round. Neeraj Goyat belongs to Haryana state of India and has won many awards in his career. Neeraj has been WBC Asian Champion in the years 2015, 2016 and 2017. Neeraj Goyat is the first Indian boxer to make it to the WBC rankings. Neeraj has so far won 18 matches in professional boxing, while he lost four.

Along with boxing, Mike Tyson remained constantly in controversies. In 1992, Mike Tyson was convicted of rape and sentenced to six years in prison. However, he was released on parole only after three years. During a match in 1997, Tyson bit off the ear of opposing boxer Evander Holyfield in anger. Tyson had bitten Holyfield’s right ear with such force that some part of it was cut off and fell in the boxing ring itself.
Mike Tyson’s personal life has not been that successful. Mike Tyson has married three times so far and became the father of eight children. He first married actress Robin Givens in 1988 but their marriage broke up within a year. Then in 1997, Tyson took seven rounds with Monica Turner, a doctor by profession. Later in 2003, Tyson also broke up with Monica. In the year 2009, Tyson L. Married to Spicer which continues to this day. Due to his brilliant performance in the boxing ring, Tyson also got nicknames like ‘Iron Mike’, ‘Kid Dynamite’ and ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’.
