Under the new industrial policy of Chhattisgarh, entrepreneurs will be given a monthly training allowance of Rs 15,000 per person to provide employment to the local youth. Also, special relaxation in startups and corpus fund of Rs 50 crore has been kept for women entrepreneurs, third gender, Agniveer soldiers and surrendered Naxalites. Investment will be encouraged with the establishment of industrial corridors in Korba, Bilaspur and Raipur.

Under the new Industrial Policy 2024-30 of Chhattisgarh, special schemes have been started to promote employment in the state. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai released this policy at Mayfair Lake Resort in Atal Nagar. Under this, to provide employment to local youth, entrepreneurs will be given a training allowance of Rs 15,000 per person, which will give them the opportunity to train youth in their companies.

Startups will get boost, corpus fund of Rs 50 crore

A corpus fund of Rs 50 crore has been set up to encourage startups in the state. This fund will provide maximum relaxation especially to women entrepreneurs, third gender community, Agniveer soldiers and surrendered Naxalites, enabling them to easily set up and expand their businesses.

Separate packages for MSMEs and large industries

In the new policy, separate incentive packages have been announced for MSMEs and large industries. This policy was approved in the cabinet meeting held on October 28. Under this policy, “B-spoke package” will be given to special sector industries with investment of more than Rs 100 crore, which aims to generate more than one thousand local jobs in the state.

More incentives to local residents and special sections

Under the new industrial policy of the state, special incentives will be given to Scheduled Castes, Tribes, women entrepreneurs, retired fire soldiers and ex-servicemen. For the first time, separate incentives will also be provided to MSMEs and other service enterprises under the services sector. Apart from this, arrangements have also been made for exemption in market fee, disabled employment grant, environmental project grant and transportation grant.naidunia_image

Industrial corridor will change the industrial landscape of the state

In the new industrial policy, a plan has been made to establish industrial corridors to give Korba, Bilaspur and Raipur an important place on the industrial map of the country. Investments in pharmaceuticals, textiles, agriculture and food processing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics, IT, data centers and solar energy projects will be encouraged in these corridors.

The objective of this new policy of Chhattisgarh is to make the state an industrial hub and provide new employment opportunities to the local youth. Along with this, the economic condition of the state will be strengthened by increasing investment in various sectors, which will bring a new pace in the industrial development of Chhattisgarh.
