Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev has said a big thing regarding the ownership of Patanjali. Baba Ramdev has made it clear that neither he nor Acharya Balkrishna is the owner of property worth lakhs of crores of rupees. While cycling in Patanjali Yogpeeth located in Haridwar, Baba Ramdev clarified the entire situation regarding the ownership rights of the company. He said that this entire empire belongs to the people of the country and they are its beneficiaries. He also said that some people have evil eyes on Patanjali’s property. He also talked in detail about the journey of the Swadeshi company and its empire.
Ramdev said that this entire empire of Patanjali worth lakhs of crores, people have an evil eye as to how such a big ritual came to be and who is its owner. We have hundreds of service institutions like Niramayam, Yoga Gram, Patanjali Yogpeeth, Patanjali Gurukulam, Patanjali Wellness, University etc. Along with these tasks, we took this campaign very far. Today the situation is such that we have established more than 100 big institutions in the entire country. We have given great heights to Yoga. Its total valuation is more than Rs 1 lakh crore in the capital markets.
Baba Ramdev said that our yoga teacher brothers and sisters are taking the work of yoga forward in more than one lakh places. In this, we gave training to at least 10 lakh people here and 20-25 lakh were given training at the district level. Today at least more than 25 lakh senior yoga teachers are serving with us. We have made efforts to free ourselves from educational slavery and economic ideological slavery. This empire worth lakhs of crores did not arise just like that. A lot of effort has gone into this.
Ramdev denied that he or Acharya Balkrishna was the owner of Patanjali. Giving detailed information about Patanjali’s empire, he said, ‘People have a vision as to who is its real beneficiary. We believe that prosperity is for service, for the betterment of society. Swami Ramdev is not its owner, Acharya Balkrishna is not its owner. Its owner is the entire country and its people. Today, if we make a total assessment of the work we have done in health, education, poor relief, nature, research, charity, we have spent lakhs of crores of rupees, the only aim is that this journey should continue like this. Its running cost is Rs 200 crore.
