Madhya Pradesh government, under its resolution, had announced Bundelkhand Vikas Path, an important 4-lane road project connecting the state capital Bhopal with Sagar and Chhatarpur districts of Bundelkhand. This project has also got the approval of the Central Government. Work to expand this route to 4-lane was already underway by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). Now it will be upgraded to 4-lane from Bhopal via Sagar to Chhatarpur and Uttar Pradesh border.
