The program organized on Friday 15th November on the 150th birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda is to be held at Banganga Fair Ground in Shahdol. Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister in-charge of the district Rajendra Shukla will prominently participate in this program. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the program virtually. 50 thousand people are expected to attend, for which extensive arrangements of tents and chairs have been made at the venue.
Collector Dr. Kedar Singh took stock of the preparations for the program at Banganga fair ground. He called officials from different departments and inspected the site and discussed the arrangements. During this time, Superintendent of Police Kumar Prateek was also present and he inspected the site along with police officers and employees.
In this program organized on the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda, more than 700 security forces will be deployed for the security arrangements of Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. Apart from the 250 forces present in the district, 336 policemen have been called from other districts. Along with this, arrangements have been made for two companies and 40-40 forces from Anuppur and Umaria districts. An additional superintendent of police and four DSP level officers from outside districts will also be present. Security forces will be deployed everywhere from the helipad to the entire route and stage.
Traffic has been diverted during the event. DSP Traffic Mukesh Dixit said that vehicles going towards Katni and Anuppur will have to go through the external route. Due to the VIP program, arrangements have been made to divert city vehicles through the outer route. Parking arrangements have been made at four places for VIP arrivals.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jamui in Bihar to celebrate Tribal Pride Day on 15 November. The Prime Minister will unveil a commemorative coin and postage stamp in honor of Lord Birsa Munda at around 11 am. During this period, PM will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of many development projects worth more than Rs 6,640 crore.
The Prime Minister will participate in the house warming ceremony of 11,000 houses built under the Tribal Justice Maha Abhiyan. The PM will also inaugurate 23 mobile medical units launched under PM-Janman and additional 30 MMUs under the Dharti Aaba Tribal Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan to increase access to health care in tribal areas.
Inauguration of 10 Eklavya Model Residential Schools
Apart from this, the Prime Minister will inaugurate 300 Van Dhan Vikas Kendras to promote tribal entrepreneurship and help in livelihood. Besides, 10 Eklavya model residential schools will be inaugurated for tribal students at a cost of about Rs 450 crore. He will also inaugurate two Tribal Freedom Fighters Museums at Chhindwara and Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh and two Tribal Research Institutes at Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir and Gangtok, Sikkim, to document and preserve the rich history and heritage of the tribal communities.
Laying the foundation stone of new roads and community centers
Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stone of 500 kilometers of new roads and 100 multi-purpose centers that will serve as community centers to improve connectivity in tribal areas. He will also lay the foundation stone of 25 additional Eklavya Model Residential Schools costing more than Rs 1,110 crore for the education of tribal children.
